Keeping Georgetown Beautiful!

We at Century 21 are working on painting Georgetown red. We have started the Red Poppy Endeavor. Georgetown is known as the Red Poppy Capital of Texas. Our goal is to plant 10 miles of IH35 in Georgetown with red poppy seeds.  We need 540 pounds of poppy seed to reach the goal because we have 270 acres of land to cover. This will make a huge difference to Georgetown. We want to make an impact to our community and REALLY be the Red Poppy Capital of Texas.  If you would like to help with the Red Poppy Endeavor, you can purchase poppy seeds for $25 per pound. Business and individuals are welcome to participate – the more, the merrier! You can purchase as many seeds as you’d like, making a difference one pound at a time. We have contacted the state and they have agreed to plant the seeds in October, and they will also schedule their mowing to allow the poppies to grow.
